At PT Thoroughbreds, our breeding focus is not only upon quality matings but also on the care and handling of both mares and foals and this is reflected in the tractability of the foals and their excellect nature and condition. 

PT Thoroughbreds has been actively upgrading its thoroughbred mares portfolio over the last couple of seasons, sadly letting some farm favourites go but picking up some exciting and well bred replacements upon which we believe we can build  some champion lines!

Having developed an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of racehorses and their bloodlines, Karl identifies intelligent mating options for the breeding barn and has made several astute selections at the sales.

Justine, with many (many) years of experience riding (both recreationally and trackwork), hunting locally and internationally, horse husbandry, racehorse ownership and, more recently, breeding is the driving force of the venture.

Karl and Justine are both members of the VRC and enjoy traveling with thier two children to both metropolitan and country tracks to watch their horses run.
